Sikiliza Sauti Yetu! Dunia Inaita Project is a project being implemented with a consortium of 4 Organizations (CRAWN Trust Kenya, OAY Kenya, Barnfonden, and WeWorld Kenya) in Nairobi, Kwale, and Isiolo Counties.

The project, funded by the EU, seeks to strengthen the capacity and voice of Kenyan civil society organizations as independent actors of accountability, good governance, and sustainable development.

53% of Kenyan citizens are aware of climate change. Among those aware, 83% believe the situation is worsening, and 74% think governments and 59% believe citizens can do more to address it.

Enhancing capacity and voice of Kenyan civil society organizations as independent actors of accountability, good governance, and sustainable development.
Mobilizing and engaging communities, including young people and children, to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices.

03 Key Actions

Enhance the capacity of civil society groups by providing motivation and technical training on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and justice issues.
Empower local and traditional institutions to actively advocate for ecological protection through tree planting and environmental improvement campaigns.
Enhance influence by supporting practical actions with locally and youth-led co-designed climate action research.

04 Impacts

45 Kenyan CSO/CBOs and directly affected communities have improved capacity/knowledge to take action on climate change.
Kenyan capacitated CSOs/CBOs, young women and men have engaged communities on climate adaptation actions.
Increased influence on policy makers on climate change adaptation through evidence-based engagement.
